The ASVAB Career Exploration Program provides students with career exploration scores that can help them determine readiness for further education and training in different career areas. Students explore occupations in line with their interests and skills, and at the same time, develop an effective strategy to realize their career goals.
Students gain free access to web-based tools after participation in testing in their schools. Check out the Overview section for "Tutorials" that provide a backstage look at these tools. For a 30-day access code to use the web tools, please request via email to theodore.hagert@mepcom.army.mil.

The intention of this site is to provide users the opportunity to identify the contacts in their network and how they may utilize those contacts to reach their goals. Also, because you may not be aware of your contacts connections, you can email them through the SNAudit system to get them to add contacts to your network in order to help you achieve your goals.
This simple exercise will allow you to identify the contacts which exist in your network and the potential flow of information you may receive. If you notice that you're lacking in one particular area of interest, you can take strides to make contacts who can provide you with the information necessary to achieve your goals.
In addition, you can monitor your network over time and determine if your network has grown. It is also helpful if you are working with a coach who is helping you with a particular activity (i.e., job search). Most people do not know how their contacts can help them. Conducting a social network audit will provide you with a structure process for uncovering the power of your network one contact at a time!
The SNAudit system will allow you to:

Welcome to an innovative way for job seekers and career counselors to ‘get on the same page’ when it comes to employment opportunities in healthcare.
We call this patented visualization tool the Healthcare Career Readiness Sphere. It’s a self-guided preplanning tool for job seekers, which can also be used by career coaches and counselors. It is currently used by Colorado Department of Labor; colleges, high schools, non-profits and employers.
What makes this system unique? It shows the “whole” life of a job-seeker in context. Typically, a primary criterion for educational preparation in healthcare is a minimum grade and desire for the job. Missing are the day-to-day realities of a student’s life—overlooked details that often prompt them to drop out of school. Or later, contributes to the high rate of employee attrition in the field. Those hidden details may involve transportation or childcare needs, or responsibilities to an aging parent. They can include an unrealistic view of what the job entails; what it pays, future education requirements and so forth.
Now, with the HCR Sphere, this critical information can be discovered and addressed immediately. The HCR Sphere provides a snapshot of reality for the job seeker or counselor. It reveals readiness. It provides clarity of purpose. It allows participants to leverage strengths while addressing the challenges they face.
This “strengths-focused” approach to education and employment enables a job seeker to be better prepared for success.
This on-line tool features 58 questions and takes roughly 10 minutes to complete. The results are displayed on one single page; in the shape of a sphere, revealing all data in context. This easy-to-use system enables end-users to save considerable time and resources. Research has shown the system to be very effective.
The HCR Sphere was created as a collaborative project between the Colorado Department of Labor, educators and private employers.

Although Career Coach users have various levels of education, the program was originally created to fill the void of career development resources for individuals that have not obtained four-year college degree. Career Coach is also suited for today’s economic climate where many workers are faced with unemployment, underemployment, transitioning careers, or reentering the work force after long periods of inactivity. In addition, workforce development staff view Career Coach as a very useful tool for helping clients achieve their career goals.
